The basis of our outpatient programs are to provide group therapy to adults. Clients engaged in our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs typically stay in treatment for 2-4 weeks, depending on the specific needs of the individual. Through the provision of group, family, and individual therapy as well as medication management services, Greenleaf Center offers safe, structured programming. They provide 12 Step meetings, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and interpersonal counseling. Along with substance use, Greenleaf treats mental health conditions such as ADHD, anger management, bipolar, trauma, self harm, and more. When I say that this facility is comprehensive, that’s no exaggeration.
Some traumatic events are so disturbing that they cause long-term mental health problems. PTSD is a long-term mental health issue caused by a disturbing event or events. Symptoms include anxiety, dissociation, flashbacks, and intrusive thoughts. Anxiety is a common mental health condition that can include excessive worry, panic attacks, physical tension, and increased blood pressure. ADHD is a common mental health condition caused by dopamine imbalance. Common symptoms include inattention, hyperactivitiy, and impulsivity.
Outpatient rehab enables clients to receive addiction treatment while continuing to work and reside at home. Many programs offer evening, night, and weekend services so that clients may receive treatment on their own schedule. Outpatient treatment modalities typically include addiction counseling, recovery-focused life skills training, and/or medication assisted treatment (MAT). Many programs also provide step-down care, including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and Review Review Maverick House standard outpatient services, to align with clients’ evolving needs. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who’ve been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
Program for women
Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues.
